Going back

When I moved to Spain in January 06, I started a blog, "Confessions of a Border Crosser." When I got back 8 months later, I stopped it and moved the blog to blogspot and to myspace. But now, I'm going back to the original confessions.

Here's something from my first return post:
" So why come back? Any number of reasons. 1: I read somewhere on the internets that keeping a .mac blog was lame (or words to that effect), and that made me think that it might be good to resuscitate my first blog. 2: Originally this blog started as a way to reflect on living in Spain and when I moved back to this side of the Atlantic, it didn’t seem to fit that original goal. But now I think that it was never really about being Chicano in Spain. 3: When I left this space to move to blogspot and then myspace, I cited the fact that it would be easy to update the blog from any computer. This is still an issue, but I figure I can deal with it. Plus, I never really did post much on blogspot, and this past summer the myspace blog was pretty much dedicated to posting videos. 4: Reviewing it, I kind of like some of those old posts."

So here’s what’s going to happen (at least this is the plan fo now): Confessions of a Border Crosser is going to return. To that end, I’ll be reposting some of the stuff from my other two blogs, a “greatest hits” if you will, or, more precisely, a mixtape. I’ll put up some new stuff too.

So here goes, Confessions of a Border Crosser, v. 2. Re:boot.

Booting now...
